First 4/20 done!

Its about 11:42pm but before I go to bed right now I have to advance my clock forward an hour so it would technically be 4/21 at 12:42am, but we're crossing the international date line later tonight so we turn the the date back one day! On to the second 4/20!

Happy Groundhog day!! =]

Two April 20ths!?

Yup! I'll be living a day TWICE! We'll be crossing the International
Date Line so we relive a day and I'll be 2 or 3 hours BEHIND Hawai'i! =]

Two 4.20s?! Probably a bad idea...but we'll be out in the middle of the
Pacific!

Total this year, I'll be living 367 days of the year! It was a leap
year, plus a second 4/20!

P.S. I know I still haven't posted what I did in Vietnam, China, and
Japan. I'm still swamped with papers! A 4-5 page one due tomorrow with
presentation, another 5 page one due the day after, then another one a
couple days later, and the last one due on April 22nd. O_o

O_o

TSUKARETA!!! That's all I can say how I feel right now. Good-bye Japan, hello papers.... >_<

Here I sit...

...slowly but surely writing my Global Studies paper due in a few hours
while thinking about these past few months. It's been the most amazing,
tiring, stressful, exciting and challenging three months of my life!
Going from schoolwork and work on the ship to barely sleeping in port.
We just left our last international port for the last time. Who knows if
I'll come into another international port again or even by ship. From
this semester on out, it's 3 years of work and school with graduation
then an internship (hopefully!) right after that. The past three months
is kind of a blur for now because I haven't been able to process it
fully. Comparing SAS life to home life will be interesting. I will
probably think home life is dull, but I hope I make the most of it after
this semester. I've spent too many days and nights not making the most
of weekends and breaks with friends. Life's too short to be putting so
much stress on school. Education is important, but it has kept me from
making the most of college. I know it's a little late to realize this,
but hey, better late than never right?? I got 3 years of college left!
=] I'm looking forward to summer with some of you and next school year
with the rest of you! I'm giving you notice in advance, I'll probably
talk about SAS A LOT. I heard it happens for everyone that gets home.
I've learned so much about the world that I didn't learn in a textbook
or if I did, didn't take it into perspective till I actually experienced
or witnessed it.

But for now, I have 5 papers to write, as the ship makes its way
(rockily!) home to Hawaii! =] I'll be in port in Oahu on April 24th, but
as far as I know I'm not able to get off the ship because it's supposed
to be a "study day" for exams and refueling of the ship. O_o I'll be in
Hilo on April 25th! Big Island ♥! Then it's on to San Diego and
the post-SAS adventure with the family and friends!

P.S. I know I haven't written what's happened in port since
Vietnam...I'll get to it! Once I have a small break between papers!

Behind.... AGAIN!

I know I'm behind in posts! I'm still on Day 4 of Vietnam/Cambodia and I'm two countries ahead of that! I'll blog when I can but I have to do at least 5 papers in a matter of a week after I get back on the ship from Japan. I'll be cramming and I'll blog when I can! Sorry everyone!
